This model was designed for Bass Trombone. The Heavytone (HT) Line was designed to offer trombonists a big an heavy sound. The mouthpiece, which has more mass than the other lines, has less vibration in the mouthpiece, causing the vibration produced to be projected to the instrument, providing "heavier" notes, a striking sound emphasizing the low harmonics.
