The Padovani Music 12TB Premium is a tuba mouthpiece designed for musicians looking for a big, full-bodied sound with strong low-register presence, without sacrificing the versatility needed to perform comfortably throughout the different registers of the instrument.
With a 32.75 mm (1.289") inner rim diameter and a medium-deep cup, the 12TB provides a relatively large cup volume without being excessive. This combination delivers body and presence while maintaining a well-balanced feel for playing across different registers and musical settings.
Thanks to its characteristics, the 12TB can be used on larger contrabass tubas as well as smaller tubas and bass tubas, particularly by players looking for a bigger, fuller sound with greater presence in the low register.
The Padovani Music Premium Line features our removable resonator system, available in different finishes. In addition to its distinctive appearance, the resonator allows the player to explore different tonal and projection characteristics using the same mouthpiece.
