A unique concept that combines the response of a trumpet with the velvety sound of a flugelhorn. A very dark tone. Developed in collaboration with Fran Rivero, this model delivers a dark, warm, and expressive tone — ideal for musicians seeking a distinctive sound without sacrificing practicality.

Born in Puente Genil, Córdoba, Spain, Fran Rivero began his training in the Municipal Band and at the "Cristóbal de Morales" Higher Conservatory of Music in Seville. He has taught at several conservatories and is currently a professor and director at the Elementary Conservatory of Music in Cazalla de la Sierra.
Recognized for his versatility, Fran moves effortlessly between different styles as a soloist and performer. His album IBERIAN TRUMPET reflects this range, from baroque to contemporary music, including a piece dedicated by maestro Arturo Sandoval.
He has shared the stage with renowned artists such as Rubén Simeó, Yturvides, José Sibaja, Adam Rapa, and David Pastor. He is frequently invited as a soloist and clinician at international festivals, with a strong presence in Europe and Latin America..
After developing the FLUMPET mouthpiece, already aiming for a dark and velvety sound, Fran Rivero shared it with great masters and friends, and we had the privilege of receiving feedback from the great maestro Arturo Sandoval, who suggested something even more distinctive, with a larger cup and bore to achieve an even darker sound. After adjustments, the FLUMPET LOW mouthpiece was created.
Designed for musicians seeking a distinctive sound, the Flumpet LOW model delivers a powerful, full-bodied sound with a dark tone. Its design enhances expressiveness and dynamic control, making it ideal for solos, recordings, and performances where tonal color is essential. This model is not compatible with flugelhorn mouthpieces and should be used for specific tonal purposes. Not recommended for general use or for upper mid and high register playing.
Padovani Music resonators offer variations in tone and projection, allowing musicians to adjust their sound as needed.
