This model was designed for Bass Trombone. The Heavytone (HT) line was developed to provide trombonists with a fuller, more powerful sound. With more mass than other lines, the mouthpiece vibrates less, allowing the energy to be projected directly into the instrument. This results in heavier notes, a strong and distinctive sound, with emphasis on low harmonics.
