CR10 Cornet mouthpiece with resonador

The Padovani Music CR10 Premium Cornet Mouthpiece with Resonator is the smallest model in our traditional cornet mouthpiece line, developed for players who prefer a smaller inner rim diameter, quick response, and the comfort of a more compact embouchure, while preserving the traditional sound characteristics of the instrument.

With a 15.90 mm inner rim diameter, the CR10 features a relatively small rim size, providing a more compact feel for the embouchure. This characteristic can promote agility and ease of response for players who are more comfortable with smaller diameters.

Despite its smaller diameter, its deep V-shaped cup preserves the characteristic tonal identity of the cornet, promoting a smooth, dark, and full-bodied tone. This combination provides a responsive feel without making the CR10 excessively bright or moving it away from the traditional cornet sound.

Its 4.20 mm throat, combined with the Standard backbore, provides good airflow, a balanced response, and a broad sound, helping to maintain the smooth and expressive character expected from a deep-cup cornet mouthpiece.

The CR10 Premium is an excellent choice for bands, churches, brass ensembles, brass bands, popular music, solo playing, and a wide variety of musical settings featuring the cornet, especially for players looking for a smaller rim diameter while maintaining the full, smooth, and characteristic sound of the instrument.

Resonator

The CR10 Premium features the Padovani Music resonator system, available in a variety of finishes. In addition to its visual elegance, the resonator allows the player to explore different tonal and projection characteristics. The mouthpiece can be played with or without the resonator, allowing the response to be adjusted according to the player's preferences.

• ✅ With resonator: darker, smoother tone with more centered projection
• ❌ Without resonator: brighter, more open tone with broader projection
