Description
The Padovani Music CR7 Premium Cornet Mouthpiece with Resonator was developed to provide a balanced combination of comfort, ease of response, rim support, and the traditional sound of the cornet.
With a 16.20 mm inner rim diameter, the CR7 features a relatively compact and comfortable size, providing good embouchure support and easy adaptation. These characteristics make it an excellent choice for students, as well as for players who prefer a moderate mouthpiece diameter and a secure, comfortable rim feel.
Its deep V-shaped cup preserves the characteristic tonal identity of the cornet, promoting a smooth, dark, full-bodied, and mellow tone. The combination of the 16.20 mm diameter and deep cup provides a well-balanced relationship between comfort, response, and tonal body.
Its 4.20 mm throat, combined with the Standard backbore, provides good airflow, balanced response, and a broad sound, contributing to comfortable playing while maintaining the expressive character expected from a traditional cornet mouthpiece.
The CR7 Premium is an excellent choice for students, bands, churches, brass ensembles, brass bands, popular music, solo playing, and a wide variety of musical settings featuring the cornet, especially for players looking for a comfortable size, good rim support, and the full, characteristic sound of the instrument.
The CR7 Premium features the Padovani Music resonator system, available in a variety of finishes. In addition to its visual elegance, the resonator allows the player to explore different tonal and projection characteristics. The mouthpiece can be played with or without the resonator, allowing the response to be adjusted according to the player's preferences.
