A model developed to meet the highest professional demands, delivering power, projection, and an extremely defined core sound — ideal for players who need presence, endurance, and consistent performance in any setting.

Mark Upton began studying trumpet at the age of six, strongly influenced by his parents, both professional trumpet players. From an early age, he showed remarkable talent, performing with groups such as the Kent County Youth Orchestra, The Railway Swing Band, and Betteshanger Brass Band.
In 1997, he joined the Royal Marines School of Music, where he quickly stood out, winning the Parker Cup for best brass player for two consecutive years, and receiving a medal from the Worshipful Company of Musicians in London. During this period, he studied with renowned musicians such as Don Lusher and the legendary British trumpeter Derek Watkins.
He served as principal trumpet of the Royal Marines Band, performing regularly at official events for the British Royal Family. Throughout his career, he has performed at major venues including the Royal Albert Hall, West End productions, and the London 2012 Olympics, as well as collaborating with artists such as Ed Sheeran, Andrea Bocelli, Rod Stewart, and Kylie Minogue.
Today, Mark works as a freelance musician and educator, teaching students worldwide and performing and recording at a high professional level.
Developed from the real demands of Mark Upton’s professional routine, this model was designed to deliver versatility without sacrificing power. The goal was to create a mouthpiece capable of handling a wide range of performance situations — from intense playing to long sessions — while maintaining stability, projection, and tonal quality.
According to Mark, this is an extremely powerful mouthpiece, with excellent resonance and an unmatched core sound. Its design delivers strong projection and clarity, even under demanding conditions.
The comfortable, soft rim provides enhanced support and control, directly contributing to increased endurance and range. This combination allows players to perform with greater confidence and consistency.
The result is a mouthpiece that delivers real gains in sound, endurance, and range — benefits recognized not only by Mark but also by other professional musicians.
Different designs and the optional use of a resonator change the overall mass, directly influencing tone, projection, and response:
