The Yamaha Slide Oil SL03 is a lubricant specially developed for trombone slides and other instruments that use similar sliding mechanisms.
Its synthetic formula provides smooth, fast, and precise movement, helping reduce friction between the slide components while providing greater sensitivity and control during performance.
The lubricant offers good surface adhesion and reduced evaporation, allowing it to remain effective for longer when properly applied. Its oil consistency helps ensure an even distribution along the slide.
Primarily recommended for slide trombones. It may also be used on other instruments with compatible sliding components, provided that the instrument manufacturer's recommendations are followed.
Apply a small amount of oil to the previously cleaned inner slide tubes. Move the slide back and forth several times to distribute the lubricant evenly. If necessary, lightly spray water onto the slide to adjust its response and smoothness.
