The A3 Standard is a mouthpiece designed for a wide range of musicians, with particular emphasis on orchestral, band, church and solo players. Its cup volume and shape help musicians perform a wide variety of repertoire, offering a balanced combination of comfort, resistance, sound body and security throughout the instrument's entire range.
Its specially rounded rim features a profile designed to provide comfort and precision while maintaining the necessary "grip" for a secure embouchure, including during demanding attacks and passages.
The Symphonic backbore provides an open sound with good body and projection. Thanks to its versatility, the A3 is one of the most widely used models among church musicians, youth orchestra players, band musicians and soloists.
The Standard Line features Padovani Music's traditional one-piece mouthpiece construction and is not compatible with resonators, while maintaining the same rim, cup, throat and backbore dimensions as the other A3 mouthpieces.
