Description

The Padovani Music H2U Premium French Horn Mouthpiece with Resonator was developed for horn players seeking quicker response, more defined articulations and enhanced presence and brilliance, while maintaining the balance, comfort and stability that characterize the Padovani Music Premium line.

The H2U features a U-shaped cup, providing slightly more resistance feedback than the traditional H2. As a result, it offers clearer articulations, greater emphasis on upper harmonics and a more open, vibrant sound, while preserving the tonal richness required for orchestral playing, chamber music and a wide variety of musical applications.

V Cup or U Cup?

Within the Padovani Music French Horn mouthpiece lineup, models such as H2, H3 and H5 feature a V-shaped cup. Models with the letter U after the model designation, such as H2U and H3U, feature a U-shaped cup.
